June 2012 will be the ONLY ArtsyCrafts event in 2012. Lin has retired, and Leandra has a busy year planned with PaperArtsy, so we are only able to offer one event a year. We have put together 3 completely different classes, so we hope that there is something for everyone, and a nice variety on offer. Please read all the information here before you book.;

This year the event will be near Warrington at the  DeVere Daresbury Park. The accomodation, food, staff service and fabulous public transport links, (air, road, rail) make it a reliable venue with easy access, and great facilities on site.

ArtsyCrafts 2012 is a 3 day event; you will be able to book single or multiple days, allowing you to opt for 1, 2 or 3 days of classes as per your preference and budget. VAT is added at the checkout, so each class fee is listed  online ex VAT.
Saturday and Sunday are £100 (including VAT, lunch, evening meal, refreshments)
Sunday, a shorter day is £75 (including VAT, lunch and refreshments)

Class Times: class times are 9am - 6pm with breaks for lunch, and tea-breaks. The room is also available Fri/ Sat evenings for tweaking, demos, extra assistance, or to follow your muse with some creative explorative play.

Payments: Please do not use PAYPAL to pay. Our shopping cart has several payment options.
For credit/ debit cards select worldpay or secureform, both are perfectly safe credit card processing options.
For online bank transfer select BACS (this is best for UK only customers)
If you do not wish to leave your card details online select telephone (and then call up to give us your card number)
Please do NOT USE PAYPAL if possible, the transaction fee for us as a merchant to receive your money is 3 times that of the other payment options. Thanks you for your cooperation with this.

Class Supplies: For each class you will received a class kit which will have everything you need to complete the project. However, there are some items you might like to bring in addition.
All classes please bring: Scissors, A4 Cutting mat, Craft Knife, Pokey Tool, Ruler, apron. 
Friday's sewing class: you will need a sewing machine (if possible) we only need 1 machine between 2-3 people, the more we have the better, but please don't go and buy one; beg or borrow from friends or family. No sewing experience is required, but do make sure you know how to thread it and refill the lower bobbin. Also bring a large reel or even 2 of cream thread. You will also find sewing notions such as buttons, lace, coveted fabrics, sheer fabrics, beads and precious bellies etc will be nice to have on hand, and you may end up swapping with your class friends. A rotary cutter, large ruler and large cutting mat is helpful, but only if you have one already - don't go out an buy these. Other useful items: pinking shears with the zig-zag blades, large fabric scissors, needles, thread, embroidery cottons, quick unpick, small ruler, thread snips, pins, tape measure etc.

Experience Required: Please remember these events are aimed at newbies and experienced crafters alike. We are here to offer help and support and encouragement in a fabulous, relaxed and fun crafting environment. You will learn loads, make many new friends, and come home with oodles of ideas to incorporate into your own crafty projects. In other words, our classes are suitable for crafters of ALL ABILITIES. Even if you are a non-sewer you WILL be able to do the Friday class.

Rooms are reserved for the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th. We have to guess your requirements, so if central reservation tell you no rooms are available, DO NOT BOOK. Call Leandra on 01277 212911, and I will ensure Daresbury Park contacts central booking to make more available. This usually takes another 2-3 days for their system to update, but its a huge hotel, so don't panic - they will be able to accommodate you.
Please be aware, if you have stayed at a DeVere venue before, occasionally the group HQ offers deals cheaper than we can negotiate, if you see one cheaper than our rate, book it!

Cancellation Policy: As we pre-pay for all the event expenses (class kits, supplies, venue, meals, etc) a month in advance we are not in a position to refund for last minute cancellations. However if we can pass on your place, then you will get some compensation.

• If you need to cancel your booking more than 4 weeks before the event (ie on or before May 11th, 2012) you will incur a 10% cancellation fee of the amount paid, and we will refund the balance.
• If you need to cancel with less than four weeks’ notice (ie 12^th May – June 7th), you will incur a 10% cancellation fee automatically. We will endeavour to sell on your ticket from our waiting list. If there is no waiting list, or if a replacement delegate cannot be found, no refund will be issued.
